In accordance with our supported browser and system requirements, Help Scout officially supports Android 11 and newer, focusing on fixing issues and adding features for these versions. The app can still be installed on devices with Android 8 or higher, but for the best experience and latest updates, upgrading is recommended.
Additionally, we've fixed a rare issue with swipe gestures for navigating between conversations.

Oh, hello there, Hide Threads. Welcome to the mobile app!
Now, you have the power to hide threads whenever you need, ensuring they won't be included in your replies. Once you've hidden a thread, it won't show up in your previous responses to the customer. This feature gives you even more control over your conversations!

In our latest update, we have successfully rectified a troublesome bug that was affecting users on older Android devices, particularly those using Android 11 and below. This bug resulted in some users being unexpectedly logged out of the app. Rest assured, this issue has been resolved in the recent update.
Please note, if you were impacted by this problem, you may need to log in again. We recommend updating to the newest version of our app for an improved and uninterrupted experience.

• You can now use Saved Replies in plain text format when replying to a Messenger conversation.
• You can forward Messenger conversations just like any other conversation type!
Fixed:
• When creating a new reply, note, forward, or new conversation, the status and assignee are now consistent with both the browser experience, and your Mailbox settings.
• The app no longer crashes if you use the “New Message” shortcut on Android home screens.
